Lottery ticket is generous. Most attempts at virality don't even get drawn.
You can repeatedly create viral content if your topic is one of about five specific things and you live in NYC or LA. Otherwise yeah, lottery.
Going viral is a survivorship-bias business. Every viral case study has a thousand identical strategies that did nothing.
