Agree. Open rates are now a "directional indicator" which is consultant-speak for "garbage we still report".
Open rates on iOS audiences have been theatre since 2021. Anyone reporting them as media kit numbers is committing fraud politely.
Click rate is the only honest metric and it's been the only honest metric since iOS 15. The take is right but two years late.
